How We Support Allergy Pathways

We collaborate with NHS Trusts to provide additional capacity and specialist expertise across key areas of Allergy Solutions care, including:

  • Outpatient Allergy Clinics: Supporting Trusts with outpatient assessments and management for allergic conditions such as hay fever, eczema, asthma, food allergies, and drug allergies. Our Consultants and Specialist Allergy Nurses help reduce waiting times and provide timely, accurate diagnoses.
  • Diagnostic Allergy Services: Assisting Trusts with allergy diagnostics, including skin prick tests, blood tests (RAST), and food challenges. Our Allergy Specialists work to manage diagnostic backlogs, ensuring that patients receive timely evaluations and treatment plans.
  • Allergy Treatments and Immunotherapy: Providing expert support for the management of severe allergies, including subcutaneous and sublingual immunotherapy, desensitisation therapies, and adrenaline auto-injector training. Our Specialist Consultants work with Trusts to manage long-term treatment pathways for patients with complex allergic conditions.
  • Post-Treatment Monitoring and Follow-Up Care: Assisting Trusts with follow-up appointments and monitoring to ensure effective management of allergic conditions over time. Our Consultants, Nurses, and Support Staff work closely with Trusts to ensure continuity of care and prevent severe allergic reactions or unnecessary hospital admissions.

Our multidisciplinary team, including Allergy Consultants, Nurses, and Technicians, works in partnership with NHS Trusts to provide high-quality, timely care for patients with allergic conditions.

Step 1

We will work with you to identify available capacity within the department on weekdays, evenings and weekends.

Next, we will collaborate with you to produce a Trust-specific operation policy that details all local policies, procedures and patient pathways.

A team of Consultants, Nurses and Support Staff will then be handpicked by us and approved by you to work in your Trust.

Our team will carry out the service to reduce waiting times and patient backlogs.

Following the first week, we will review the service with you and, if necessary, make any required adjustments.

Weekly telephone calls and monthly conference service review calls will be established, so we can ensure the quality of service remains high and allow two-way feedback going forward.
