How We Support Colorectal Pathways

We partner with NHS Trusts to provide additional capacity and specialist expertise in key areas of colorectal care, including:

  • Outpatient Colorectal Clinics: Supporting outpatient consultations for conditions such as colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), diverticulitis, and haemorrhoids. Our Colorectal Consultants and Specialist Nurses work with Trusts to manage outpatient demand, ensuring patients receive timely consultations and follow-up care.
  • Diagnostic Colorectal Services: Enhancing Trust capacity for diagnostic procedures, including colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, and imaging (CT/MRI scans) for colorectal cancer and other conditions. Our Specialist Colorectal Teams help manage diagnostic backlogs, ensuring that patients receive prompt and accurate diagnoses.
  • Colorectal Surgery: Providing skilled Colorectal Surgeons for procedures such as bowel resections, polypectomies, haemorrhoidectomy, and laparoscopic surgeries. We help NHS Trusts meet surgical demand, reduce waiting times, and provide high-quality care for both elective and urgent cases.
  • Post-Surgical and Follow-Up Care: Offering post-surgical monitoring and follow-up clinics to ensure smooth recovery for colorectal surgery patients. Our Consultants, Nurses, and Support Staff provide continuity of care, easing pressure on in-house teams and ensuring effective patient recovery.

Our multidisciplinary team, including Colorectal Consultants, Surgeons, Nurses, and Support Staff, works closely with NHS Trusts to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of colorectal services.
