How We Support Dermatology Pathways

We collaborate with NHS Trusts to deliver specialist support across key areas of dermatological care, including:

  • Outpatient Clinics: Providing additional capacity for general dermatology consultations, skin lesion assessments, and the management of chronic conditions such as psoriasis and eczema. Our Consultants and Dermatology Nurses work to reduce outpatient backlogs and improve the speed of diagnosis.
  • Diagnostic Dermatology: Supporting Trusts with diagnostic services, such as skin biopsies and dermatoscopies, which are critical for the early detection and diagnosis of skin conditions. Our team helps manage growing diagnostic demand, ensuring timely interventions.
  • Surgical Dermatology: Offering support for minor surgeries, including excisions, lesion removals, and other dermatological procedures. Our Dermatology Surgeons and Specialist Nurses work alongside Trust teams to provide timely, safe, and effective treatments.
  • Skin Cancer Management Including Surgery: Assisting Trusts in managing skin cancer referrals, including offering surgical treatments and Mohs surgery for precise tumour removal.
  • Complex Dermatology Cases: Providing expertise in managing more challenging dermatological cases, including Connective Tissue Disorders, and collaborating with other medical specialties to deliver comprehensive care.

Our multidisciplinary team, including Consultants, Dermatology Surgeons, Nurses, and Support Staff, works alongside NHS Trusts to deliver efficient and high-quality dermatological care.
